The Project: Linkd Environmental Services was appointed by the World Bank Institute to organise, coordinate and facilitate a series of global dialogues on climate change, via video conferencing (as part of a strategy to minimise the Dialogues' carbon footprint), between the months of May to September 2011. Each dialogue session brings together practitioners and technical experts from around the world to reflect on their experiences and knowledge on  particular climate related topics.
 
The topics are: 
  • Climate Resilient Cities
  • Adaptation, Food Security and Rural Development
  • Climate Finance
  • Scaling up Mitigation actions in Cities
  • Human Resources and Technology
 
The audience for these exchanges includes key stakeholders in South Africa and Africa, policy makers, non-governmental organisations, the private sector and internationally recognised experts on topic areas.
